Yes, we know Johnny Truesdell has given the River a gift by capturing spectacular photographs, creating a webpage, setting up a Facebook page, producing calendars and a beautiful small picture book depicting the Thousand Islands of today! So writing "Gifts" is right on!
I have to admit that knowing we can't meet with friends or neighbors, and that when the sense of isolation takes over ... we need some cheerful news.
So, when I received Johnny Truesdell’s “River Artist, Images of the Thousand Islands” I agreed emphatically that this book needs to be on your coffee table at the cottage. But until then, as we head into the depths of winter, I encourage you to have fun and explore Johnny's website! - See videos from the River and more... And also Johnny's Facebook page!
About the book:
"I never imagined that I would be releasing a photo book, but it seems I have evolved into a serious photographer. This book contains some of the best images I have taken during the past year. You will see photo's from Cape Vincent, NY, all the way down the St. Lawrence River to Chippewa, Bay NY. Many photos were taken in and around my hometown of Alexandria Bay, NY. I have spent 1000s of hours obtaining these images and I hope you enjoy them.”...............Johnny Truesdell
