The classic tale is brought to stage in the proven favorite production of the internationally acclaimed ‘Panto Company.’ The Panto Company USA brings their award-winning adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s "The Little Mermaid" to the US. The show follows the dreams of a young girl who believes there is a better life for her out of the water. Of course there’s a handsome prince, an evil witch and boatloads of adventures and laughs along the way. With stunning scenery, eye catching costumes, original songs and not forgetting loads of audience participation, this show provides families and educators alike with the perfect theatre experience.

The Panto Company USA is a touring children's theater company that produces family-friendly musical comedy stage productions, often based on fairy tales.

The Clayton Opera House, a Nationally Registered Historic Place, is a stately four-story brick structure overlooking the St. Lawrence River in downtown Clayton, New York. The Opera House has served as an important hub for cultural and community events for over a century and is a fine example of the vaudeville theaters which sprung up throughout the United States in the early 1900s. In addition to being a performance venue, the building's previous tenants have included a library, furniture store and funeral parlor, jewelry and clothing stores, beauty salon, the Thousand Islands Museum, Antique Boat Museum, Handweaving Museum, and Chamber of Commerce.
