The Summer Kicks Off with the Spring Fishing Derby

The Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Spring Fishing Derby Saturday, May 24 at East End Park. Adults and kids alike to participate for the chance to enjoy the turn in weather and win some prizes!

Adults can register in the walleye or pike division with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. A free perch division for kids ages 15 & under will also award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Anglers can register online at capevincent.org.

Located at the entrance of the St. Lawrence River and overlooking Lake Ontario, Cape Vincent is well known for its access to fresh water fishing. Newly renovated boat launches and dockage are available at East End Waterfront Park.
