2025 Celebration of the Lakes

The Indian River Lakes Conservancy (IRLC) is excited to announce the 2025 Celebration of the Lakes, a delightful afternoon gathering dedicated to the conservation of our cherished Indian River lakes, land, and community. The gathering will take place on Sunday, August 3rd from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Thousand Islands Winery located at 43298 Seaway Ave, Alexandria Bay, NY.

This year’s Celebration of the Lakes promises a delicious hors d’oeuvre buffet by Carrot Catering, local wine from Thousand Islands Winery, exciting live and silent auctions with celebrity emcee Jay Matteson, and music by Kaydence Timerman.

The live auction includes Adirondack chairs and table handmade by local craftsman Richard Edgar, a Pleasant Lake Cabin stay, an Antique Boat Museum Zipper Cruise, and a Riverbay Too Kayak Rack. The silent auction features both locally crafted treasures and one-of-a-kind experiences - all donated in support of IRLC.

"Our annual Celebration of the Lakes event is the largest gathering of the year of supporters of the Indian River Lakes Conservancy. A short presentation will inform everyone on how this year's Elizabeth May Duvall Kids Camp and WHIRL went, as well as other ways the IRLC serves our community. It is a fun, relaxed event at a great venue beneath the Thousand Island Bridge," said John O’Driscoll, IRLC Board Chair.

As a special thank you to IRLC supporters, all attendees of the Celebration of the Lakes will receive a Michael Ringer limited-edition “Indian River Flats” Giclée print, numbered and signed by the artist.

“The Celebration of the Lakes is a fun and lively event that raises critical funds for conservation, education, and stewardship across the Indian River Lakes region,” said Stephen Diehl, IRLC Board Member and COL Committee Chair.
