From the Editor with Paul's Smile(s)
It’s June and once again, we are concerned about high water. Saturday June 6th brought high winds, which raised the water beyond comfortable levels. Neighbours helping neighbours was a good thing, but heavy damage to docks and boats is never easy to report.
Time for a smile
Actually, we had too much trouble choosing a smile for this month, so we’re giving you two of Paul Reichert's wonderful cartoons!
Good publicity
We all receive lots of suggestions for online reading, but this one caught my eye and impressed me.
And don't forget to link to Lorraine Payette's The Gananoque/TLTI Junction, for up-to-date happenings in the region all summer.
Half Moon Bay
Maybe you are a regular attendee, or maybe you’ve been thinking about going for years, but never actually gotten there. This year will be the year to attend!
Half Moon Bay is at the southeast end of Bostwick Island (Yorke Island on some charts) in the Admiralty Group off of Gananoque, ON. The services are ecumenical and are open to all who wish to attend. Every service includes hymns, prayer, and a sermon by the guest minister. Most services are about forty-five minutes long. Call 613-484-6197 with questions. Don't have a boat? No worries, there are volunteers ready with boats at the Dock at the west end of Water Street, Gananoque, (inside the Gananoque Marina) to pick up passengers from 3 – 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

Growing our TI Life community
The subscribe link is at the bottom of every page on TI Life. Ask a friend to join!
Once you share your email, on the 14th of each month you’ll receive a notification that the new issue is now online. As you will see, we do not take advertising, we never share our email lists, and even better, TILife costs $0 in both Canadian and US funds. Imagine that – what a bargain!!
Are you going on a special excursion this summer?
If so, please let us know. Send us your short description (500 words, 3 – 5 photographs) about what made it special for you, and remember that River has a capital R! These articles will be placed on our Excursions section. (check it out!)
Conclusion
We have a dozen articles in this issue - Enjoy!
Be aware that the water level is higher than last year, so stay safe, watch for floating debris, and check your charts for water depths.
