ABM & USCG Offer Boater Safety Classes Online for 2021

The Antique Boat Museum and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 1-6 (Alexandria Bay) have collaborated to adapt the Auxiliary’s nationally recognized boater safety classes in the name of COVID-19 precautions and are excited to announce classes will be offered virtually again for 2021. While this is a USCG Auxiliary class, registration through the Antique Boat Museum’s website is required to be added to the roster.

Classes will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday-Thursdays during one week out of every month beginning in June. This is an eight-hour course and students will only need to register for one session to receive their certificate. Students will need a computer or tablet with internet access, a functioning webcam and microphone to participate. The textbook for this course is included in tuition and can be picked up at the Antique Boat Museum or emailed to students as a PDF. More information and the link to online registration are available on the Antique Boat Museum’s website at abm.org under the Education drop-down menu.
